A school-wide art and kindness project rooted in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

The Mural of Kindness is a joyful, community-based art project where students complete three meaningful acts of kindness:

🌱 One for themselves
💛 One for someone they care about
🌍 One for the planet -
Over the course of a month, students write down their good deeds and place them in a “Kindness Jar” in their classroom. These simple acts become the foundation of a powerful mural—hand-painted directly on your school wall, designed by children’s book illustrator and muralist Sahar Shams, and inspired by the spirit of your students.

🎉 A Celebration of Kindness

At the end of the project, children gather for a mural unveiling where they reflect on how kindness felt in their hearts. They hold hands, close their eyes, and share the warmth they created with each other and the world. Then—music, movement, and joy. A dance party to seal it all in.
🌟 Sliding Scale

Sahar's nonprofit " The LittleSoul" can sponsor the mural materials up to $1000 for three schools. Schools only need to cover the artist’s time and design fee. No child should miss the chance to see their light on the wall.
